Looking after two fun loving, energetic children, a 4 year old and a 1 year old, the role is a full time role. The eldest child starts school in September. Hours: Typically, during term time Tuesday to Thursday 8am to 7pm, Monday & Friday 8am to 10am and 3pm to 7pm. During school holidays hours will be 8am to 7pm- 5 days a week during school holidays. The role includes two nights babysitting a week Monday to Thursday. You will have your own bedroom and ensuite bathroom with access to your own sitting room in the evening if you would like it. Crucially, you will be someone who is flexible, reliable, trustworthy, kind, caring and fun. You must be prepared to carry out some household chores (typically ironing, cooking for the children (and us occasionally, if at all possible), general tidying and ad hoc tasks). Furthermore, you need to like animals as we have a dog, chickens etc. Ideally, you will enjoy being outdoors, be friendly and willing to muck in. The role is likely to suit someone who has friends, things they enjoy doing, locally. Start date will be mid-August. Job requirements: Fluent English essential Baby and Toddler experience preferred Driving licence essential Childcare qualifications desirable but not essential Verifiable references in the UK and must be eligible to work in the UK Recent DBS check & paediatric First Aid preferred Dog and animal friendly essential as role will involve walking the dog and assisting with other animals.
